Shelley Ungerank, a real estate agent with Premier Farm Realty Group in Pevely, said those looking to buy or sell a home should look for an agent who will provide the best customer service.
Ungerank said she has worked as a real estate agent since 2010 and recently began working for Premier Farm Realty, 8721 Commercial Blvd.
“Premier is on the cutting edge of the real estate business,” she said. “Our management works very hard to stay on top of technology and industry changes, to give us (the agents) more time to focus on clients.”
Ungerank said customer service is about helping people through every step of the buying or selling process. Her job is to work with loan officers, inspectors and appraisers to understand the process and help clients with any challenges that arise.
At Premier, real estate agents have a passion for the business and make professionalism and customer a priority, she said.
Premier has agents who specialize in residential sales, land sales and auctions, and Ungerank works mainly in residential sales.
“I live in De Soto and that is the area of my main focus,” she said. “But relationships with clients take me all over Jefferson, Washington and St. Francois counties,” she said.
Ungerank said she has always worked in customer service and enjoys meeting people and learning about their stories and their goals in buying or selling a home.
“I like doing the research to decide on a fair market value for the property,” she said.
Ungerank said the real estate market is always changing and it’s a real estate agent’s job to keep up with the trends.
“The market is fluid and staying current is a requirement of the job,” she said.
