Brisk biz: Sleep Eazy’s got what you need – right away

Cory Prsha, co-owner of Sleep Eazy, a mattress and home furnishing store in High Ridge, says his store has avoided the supply chain problems other stores have experienced recently.

“We have quick turnaround,” he said. “We have a lot of items in stock, and most anything we order we can get in less than a week, not six weeks like a lot of places.”

The store, 11 Dillon Plaza Drive, had only been open a few weeks when the pandemic forced a six-week closing, but Sleep Eazy has been doing brisk business ever since.

“Once the pandemic hit, the demand for home furnishing services shot through the roof,” Prsha said.

He and co-owner Mike Light credit some of their success to the support of the High Ridge community.

“We have awesome customers, an awesome clientele,” Prsha said. “We have a great relationship with other businesses in the area. It’s just a great community.”

Sleep Eazy carries a variety of mattresses from brands like Chattam and Wells, Spring Air and Forever Beds, a line that offers a lifetime warranty.

The store also carries adjustable bed frames, with features like built-in USB ports and Bluetooth technology; lighting; lumbar support; and tilt adjustments. Delivery is available, as is disposal of your old bed.

The two owners and their three staff members are committed to giving back to the community.

Last summer, they participated in a sale with proceeds going to the St. Louis Hero Network.

“That went over great. We got a big response,” Prsha said. “We brought them a couple thousand dollars. We’re definitely doing it again.”

Prsha said the company plans a second location in northern Jefferson County.

“We’re definitely looking.”
