Most people are familiar with Servpro’s fire and water restoration and mold remediation for commercial and residential property, but there is more to the company, said Sarah Wood, executive marketing manager for Servpro East Central Missouri.
She said the company offers commercial and residential carpet cleaning, air duct cleaning, stripping and waxing floors, biohazard cleanup, storm response and it newest service – construction.
“It doesn’t have to be tied to an insurance claim, like a fire or flood, when people need to rebuild after that,” Wood said. “It’s for anybody who wants to remodel their kitchen or put an addition on their house or a commercial real estate building that needs work.”
Wood said there are several advantages to using Servpro for construction. For homeowners who need reconstruction after a disaster, it makes sense dealing with a single team from beginning to end rather than having to work with multiple contractors.
“And the nice thing is that we work directly with their insurance,” Wood said.
She said for those seeking a remodel, addition or new construction, working with Servpro can cut the wait time.
“We have such a large talented group of people in the construction division that people don’t have to wait six or eight months to start a project on their home. When you’re waiting for somebody good, that’s usually what it is.”
Wood said the East Central Missouri franchise will soon have five locations, which means flexibility in getting crews out to customers as soon as possible.
“It makes it so much better for the customer to not have to wait. We are able to have five times the power,” she said.
Wood said the fifth location will open this month at 70 Francois Road in Herculaneum.
