Savanna Place in Festus remains hot for ReMax team
ReMax Best Choice agent Rhonda Overberg said her agency continues to see strong interest in Savanna Place, an 80-lot development in Festus where sales began over the summer.
She and her husband, Jerry, own the agency.
The grand opening for Phase 1 of the development – a collaboration between her team and builder KAB Homes – near the intersection of Cromwell and Horine roads took place in July and quickly captured the attention of home buyers, she said.
“Savanna Place is pretty close to half sold out,” she said. “We’ll be opening up Phase 2 soon. Prices have remained fairly stable in the subdivision. The prices of homes in the subdivision start at $228,900. That’s a ranch with a three-car garage.”
The development offers multiple house models that start at nearly 1,400 square feet and are in ranch, story-and-a-half and two-story styles.
“The Jefferson model has been popular,” Overberg said. “It’s a new floor plan with a master bedroom on the main level. It’s a story-and-a-half, with two additional bedrooms and a loft on the upper level. That house is 1,800 square feet. The base price of that one is $243,400.”
She said all the models have their fans and affordable pricing in the development appeals to a wide range of buyers.
“All of these homes have high-quality features, such as architectural shingles and stainless steel appliances,” she said.
