Don’t settle: Sebaugh and Mange love finding clients their perfect home
Realtors Kim Sebaugh and Amanda Mange say they strive to provide their clients with personalized service.
Sebaugh and Mange, both of Hillsboro, are agents at Realty Executives Five Star Homes, 344 Festus Centre Drive, in Festus.
“I love working with people and I especially love working with first-time homebuyers,” Sebaugh said. “There’s nothing better than to see that smile when you hand the keys to a young person or a young couple getting their first home.”
Mange said her job is rewarding.
“My favorite part is the end game, seeing someone happy and knowing that you did a good job. I liken it to delivering a baby. You get to see that baby, that ultimate happiness,” she said.
The two said the real estate market is hot right now, which can be a challenge.
“The inventory is so low, it’s a sellers’ market, so it’s been frustrating for buyers,” Sebaugh said.
She said the shortage of inventory can lead people to make offers they wouldn’t otherwise.
“I would advise my clients, ‘Don’t let the market force you into buying something. Unless you have to move, let the market come to you, or the perfect house come to you.’ I also don’t want to see (clients) give up their rights to inspections and appraisals.”
Both Sebaugh and Mange are members of several civic organizations and have been recognized for their community service.
Mange said her involvement in civic organizations has helped her make a lot of connections.
“So, you’re going to get someone very in tune with the community.”
Sebaugh and Mange said they specialize in residential housing in Jefferson County and the surrounding area. Sebaugh also specializes in horse properties.
