Realtor Alicia Vazquez of Re/Max Best Choice said that while she is qualified for a variety of home and property sales, new home transactions are her specialty.
“Because I’ve received extra education on it, I’m particularly familiar with new construction residential,” she said. “I’m certified as a new home specialist and residential construction specialist.”
Vazquez, an agent for 15 years, said she sees the real estate market as regaining steam. She focuses on sales in Jefferson and St. Louis counties, but also works on behalf of sellers and buyers in surrounding areas.
“I feel like things are picking up,” she said. “There’s still a need for inventory for home sales. It’s a good time to build. With the low inventory, building is a great alternative. There is a need for more inventory everywhere.”
Vazquez mentioned two subdivisions where she is selling houses.
“Right now, I’m selling in Festus at Savanna Place and at Konert Valley in Fenton,” she said. “I host open houses in those two locations noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays.”
Vazquez, who lives in Festus, said she has a great interest in her community and the region.
“I’m really involved in the community,” she said. “I work with the Ozark Food Pantry in Festus. We’re working on Project Generosity, a fundraising effort for the Ozark Food Pantry.”
She is assisting with Cruisin’ for a Cause, a car show benefitting the Ozark Food Pantry set for Sept. 30 at Larry G. Crites Memorial Park in Festus. A car cruise through downtown Festus will follow the show.
Vazquez works out of Re/Max offices at 1510 Parkway West Drive, Festus and 4568 Meramec Bottom Road, south St. Louis County.
