Re-Max Best Choice agent Traci Palmero, front center in Santa suit, is a member of the board of Children’s Miracle Network and hosts clients each year in a suite at Busch Stadium as a fundraiser. In 2023, Palmero donated $16,375 to the children’s charity.

The agents at Re-Max Best Choice say they’re almost as enthusiastic about being involved in the community as they are about closing real estate transactions.

Re-Max Best Choice has offices in Festus, Farmington and south St. Louis County.

Alicia Vazquez, an agent at the St. Louis County office, 4568 Meramec Bottom Road, said owner Rhonda Overberg has set the standard.

“I am inspired by (Overberg), who has been involved in the community through a variety of organizations for many years,” Vazquez said. “I feel blessed to be able to walk in her footsteps and continue the legacy she has built.”

Traci Palmero, who is based in the Festus office, 1510 Parkway West, said when she was looking to make a career change almost nine years ago, culture was important and she found a match with Re-Max Best Choice.

“One of my favorite things about being connected to Re-Max Best Choice and the Re-Max brand is the community involvement,” she said. “So many of our agents donate a portion of their commission on every transaction to Children’s Miracle Network.”

Palmero said each year Re-Max Best Choice is among the top offices in donations to the charity.

“From chambers of commerce to Habitat for Humanity, the Ozark Food Pantry and local schools and events, I am proud of how our agents show up, support, organize and lead the way in community involvement,” Palmero said.

Roberta House, based in the Farmington office, 3318 Conway Road, said, “the camaraderie and community involvement has been one of the most cherished things I love about our Re-Max Best Choice family. We support food banks, animal shelters, children’s homes, Shop with a Cop and many more.”
