Presleys Glass employees treat each remodel job like it’s in their own home, team leader Rick Presley said.
Charleen Presley started the glass company at 1206 Thornton St. in Pacific in 1994 and hired her son, Kirk, to help with the business. A couple of years later, Charleen’s son, Rick, and Kirk’s wife, Lisa, joined the business.
Kirk oversees commercial glass installation projects while Rick handles the residential side. Rick said the residential division works directly with homeowners or through general contractors to install mirrors and shower enclosures for bathroom remodels. Presleys Glass also replaces faulty, foggy or damaged windows, Rick said.
Since the 1990s, the family business has grown to 32 employees.
“All our employees are very talented, and they also have that same family caring attitude when it comes to working with our clients,” Rick said. “My mother retired in 2021, and Lisa took over as our majority shareholder and pretty much runs the whole office. We also have another generation in the business since Lisa’s daughter (Faith) is one of our office staff.”
Rick said Presleys Glass offers free estimates for homeowners looking to remodel.
“Advising and consulting is very beneficial, and we are happy to do that to help customers as they go through the remodeling process,” he added.
Most materials used in bathroom remodels are locally sourced, which is a point of pride for Presleys Glass, Rick said.
“The glass comes from local vendors – one is in Pacific and one in Warrenton,” Rick said. “The hardware comes from a company called CR Laurence out of Chicago. Any time we can keep our carbon footprint down, it does help, not only environmentally, but also with the cost.”
Rick said homeowners may reach Presleys Glass for remodeling questions by calling 636-257-4885. The company’s website is presleysglassinc.com.
