Jason Partney, owner of Partney Heating & Cooling in Herculaneum, said he and his employees strive to provide the products and services that best fit their customers’ needs.

“We’re about making people happy and solving people’s problems while providing services people can trust and afford,” Partney said. “We try to find the most cost-effective and energy efficient way to heat and cool your house.”

The business, 1359 McNutt St., was founded in 1997 and offers residential and commercial HVAC services in Jefferson and St. Louis counties.

“We are expanding into geothermal services for our rural areas later this year and residential and commercial refrigeration in 2024,” Partney said.

Three years ago the company added “a state-of-the-art HVAC and sheet metal shop” that makes ductwork and customized sheet metal products like signs and firepits, he said.

Partney said his company offers York HVAC products, but technicians service a variety of equipment.

“We work on all makes and models,” he said.

The company also offers free estimates.

Partney said his company prioritizes customer satisfaction.

“If it’s not right, we’ll make it right,” he said.

He said he has seven full-time employees and one part-time employee, and he considers them family.

Partney’s dog, Bill, a yellow Labrador retriever, is the company mascot.

Partney said community also is important to him.

“We have committed to making two donations annually. This includes an air conditioner or furnace with complimentary installation to two households who are truly in need of our services,” he said. “For the year of 2023, we are fortunate to offer three giveaways, one for each of the spring, summer and fall seasons.”
