Realtor Traci Palmero and the members of the Palmero Home Team believe in supporting the community where they help people buy and sell homes.
Palmero, who has been a real estate agent for the last eight years, said she has donated a portion of every commission she earned to the Children’s Miracle Network since she began working in the industry.
“When you change a kid’s health, you change the future,” said Palmero, who was named the No. 1 miracle agent in St. Louis by the Children’s Miracle Network for her donations to the organization.
The Palmero Home Team upped its game last year to help the Children’s Miracle Network, which collects funds to support children’s hospitals in the U.S. and Canada, by holding a fundraiser at Busch Stadium. Palmero said the group collected $10,000 to donate to the Children’s Miracle Network last year.
She said the group will hold a similar fundraiser this year during a St. Louis Cardinals home game in June.
“Giving back to the community and supporting the community is a huge part of what our branding is for our team,” Palmero said. “We believe that a strong community makes for a community that people want to live in.”
Other members of the Palmero Home Team are Jim Siebert, Dottie Bridges and T.J. Carroll. Palmero said along with supporting the Children’s Miracle Network, the team also supports local sports teams, local music programs and makes donations to nonprofit and charitable organizations throughout Jefferson County.
“People like doing business with people who are giving,” she said.
