LeAnna Obermeyer with Locals Realty does not discriminate when it comes to homebuying in the community.
“When you join real estate, they tell you to find your niche, I don’t have that,” Obermeyer said. “My niche is people, so for me it’s not like I’m the luxury home dealer, first-time home buyer helper or commercial because I just work with people, and I have enough knowledge to basically help them get whatever of those they’re looking for.”
Based in Festus, she brings 25 years of experience from buying, renting and flipping properties. Now that Obermeyer is dedicated to real estate full-time, she wants to bring her knowledge to future clients.
“Something I bring to the table that I think is helpful to any client that’s looking for an agent is that I own an engineering company, and I used to own a construction company,” she said. “I’m not legally allowed to overset my boundaries as far as not being a home inspector, but the knowledge that I have allows me to go to a property and guide my clients.”
Obermeyer, who is a Festus native, said, “I grew up in Festus, I’m a lifelong Jefferson County resident, and community is really important to me. I think that you have to invest in your community, and in those relationships.”
This year, Obermeyer was a winner in the Leader Publications “Best of Jefferson County” contest, where the community voted her as best real estate agent in the county.
