Re-Max Realty Cafe has changed its address but not the way it does business.

The office, which broker Cort Dietz opened in 2014, was scheduled to move Jan. 15 from 10632 Business 21 in Hillsboro to a newly renovated office building at 2310 N. Truman Blvd. in Crystal City that Dietz bought in September.

The new office is located more strategically, he said, because it serves clients in Jefferson, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve and St. Charles counties and the St. Louis metro area.

Dietz, who started selling homes in 1983, said Re-Max Realty Cafe is a highly productive team of three real estate professionals with decades of experience.

Joining him are Nic Walters, a former carpenter who recently moved from transaction coordinator to real estate agent, and Frank Copanas, who is entering the real estate field after being a home inspector for many years.

Dietz said while the industry saw declines in 2023, Re-Max Realty Cafe grew.

“We grew by over 25 percent with no change in how we approach the business,” he said. “Our formula just works.

He said people simply won’t receive better or more personalized service from any other agency, because the business was not built on using social media or trendy gimmicks.

“We (built the business) by focusing on what really matters to people,” he said. “We make a real difference in the lives of all the people we touch in each transaction. And we do it for everyone, every time, without fail. And we are going to do it again in 2024.”

He said it’s a great time to buy.

“Interest rates have dropped significantly, and the market hasn’t figured that out yet, so competition to purchase is not as heated and buyers are having an easier time getting into contract,” he said. “Inventory is expanding, and sellers are still getting great values for their properties.”
