Exit Elite Realty in Arnold is putting the final touches on its new, modern headquarters at 630 Jeffco Blvd.
“We’ve set a Dec. 8 date for the grand opening and ribbon cutting,” co-owner Bill Holloway said.
John Akers started the business in 2006 at 1600 Richardson Road, with Holloway coming onboard in 2008. They closed on the new, larger building last year, and interior renovations have been underway since then.
“It’s a little more than 12,000 square feet, almost three times the space we have now,” Holloway said. “It will have a more contemporary design.”
The new place will boast a champagne and coffee bar in the reception area.
“It will have state-of-the-art IT, with a greenscreen room, a collaboration area and workspace for our 60 active agents, two support staff and four associate brokers,” Holloway said. “We discovered some brick in the conference area, and we kept that. The exposed brick gives it some character to go with the contemporary design.”
The renovation is being done in two phases, Holloway said, with the interior first and the exterior following “in a year or so.”
He said the new place comes at a great time for his agents and the buyers and sellers they serve throughout Jefferson County.
“Volume overall is down, but our numbers are looking really good, really solid,” he said. “We’re getting toward a more normal market. Demand is still high, but people aren’t overpaying for junk anymore. They’re being more selective and being smarter with how they spend their money, which is good for the industry overall.
