24-hour access: Cedar Hill gym offers all-around fitness experience

Need more muscles or fewer pounds?

Meet Me at the Bar, the gym that opened two years ago at 6773 Mall Drive in Cedar Hill, can meet your fitness needs, office manager Trish Petrus said.

“Whether you are new to the area or have lived in the area for a while, anyone with fitness goals should come to our state-of-the-art facility,” Petrus said.

The gym offers 24-hour access to members, and is staffed from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and 8 a.m. to noon Sundays.

Owned by Linda Schroeder, the gym has four staff members and three trainers.

“In our area, you will not find a cleaner, more well-balanced gym,” Petrus said. “We have added several pieces of equipment. I don’t care if you are trying to lose weight, gain muscle mass or have other fitness goals, we can meet your needs.”

Petrus said the gym offers state-of-the-art stationary equipment and hammer-strength equipment.

“We cover aspects of body building, weight training, cardiovascular workouts, and we offer classes like yoga and kick-boxing,” Petrus said.

Petrus said the first visit to the gym is free, and members enjoy the 24-hour access that allows them to create their own workout schedules.

“If you have kids, a rotating work schedule or if you work a night shift or vice versa, you can come whenever works for you,” Petrus said. “If you come in during the staff hours, the staff members can walk you through the gym, show and explain how to use equipment and answer any questions you have.”

Reach the gym at 314-504-6605.
