Agent says parents help her close deals
“I’m all about whatever it takes,” said Laura Lohman of Main Key Realty in Festus.
“Because of COVID-19, this year has been a burden on both my buyers and sellers,” she said. “Having to take extra time off work due to quarantine, school children’s virtual school days or dealing with health issues has left them in a pickle with having no additional days off work. When my seller finds out they have to remove peeling paint from around their doorways so the buyer’s FHA lender will give the final approval, that can mean another day off work. This is where I can help by calling my dad, Dennis Delisle.”
Lohman said her dad, a retired engineer, “has the tools, tips and tricks to fix just about anything” and is willing to help her clients with minor repairs.
“Together, me, my dad and my mom, Jean, have saved buyers and sellers a lot of time, money and stress,” Lohman said.
She said her parents offer lots of other help, too.
“My parents are always in town watching my kids play sports, supporting the local community or helping me with little projects,” Lohman said. “I am proud to run my business and have the ability to provide solutions to my clients instead of causing unnecessary stress.”
