Customers of M&M Design and Build are all but guaranteed an efficient, personal experience when they hire the Festus-based company to remodel a kitchen or install doors in their home.
Owner Matt Miller has more than 30 years of experience, and he said he knows how to streamline the process.
“I have so much experience that all I need to do is see what the customer’s expectations are and what they want, and no matter their style, I can take off from there and make it happen,” he said. “When I sit down with the customer, it is personable. I don’t want them to feel like I am just there to take their money. I enjoy doing the designing, building and making people happy.”
Miller said for kitchens, he will meet customers at their homes, talk about what they want and he will design the project on his tablet. He said after the initial visit, which takes about an hour and half, he draws the final design, which he goes over again with the customer to make sure everything is right.
He said the final step before installation is choosing and ordering cabinets.
“Once the cabinets are ordered, it is four to five weeks to get them in and installation takes two weeks,” Miller said.
Door installation can be a quicker process. Miller said he can measure a door, choose a replacement and install it in about two weeks.
“As long as they know what they are interested in, I can show them doors on my tablet, and I can tell them the total cost,” he said. “I can knock it out in a one-stop deal.”
