Looking for an apartment? Check out the complexes built by Lorenzo LLC of St. Louis. The company, which owns Stoney Pines in Barnhart, has begun building its newest complex, the West Village Apartments in Festus.
It has apartments to rent in both complexes, owner Lorenzo Debrecht said.
Stoney Pines was completed about a year ago and is filling up fast, he said.
Construction of the West Village Apartments is about half complete, but units are already being leased, Debrecht added.
“The first people moved in here (at West Village) in May, and the second building moved in June 1,” property manager Lee Gray said.
The complex, at 725 American Legion Drive, is slated to have 200 units, including one-bedroom (875 square feet) and two-bedroom units (1,175 square feet), Gray said.
“There are granite countertops in all units, kitchen and bath, and stainless appliances,” she said. “We do luxury vinyl plank floors because it’s very durable, it’s easy to clean and looks so much better than carpet.”
Amenities include a secure entry with cameras, a pool, gym and in-unit washer and dryer.
“Everything’s here for our tenants,” Gray said. “They literally just bring clothes and furniture and they’re done.”
Cost per month is $1,350 and $1,650 for the one- and two-bedroom units. A nonrefundable, move-in fee is assessed, based on credit score, but there is no “first and last month”-type deposit, Gray said.
“It’s a good value for the price,” she said. “Look around; other apartments don’t have this square footage, these upgrades.”
Debrecht has been in business 15 years.
Gray said she and the maintenance staff focus on customer service.
