Marie Needy-Kohler, marketing specialist with Coldwell Banker Realty - Gundaker, 502 S. Truman Blvd., in Festus, said her team’s industry experience and familiarity with the area are their biggest assets in helping local families sell and purchase homes.
She and her husband, Jim, who has had his real estate license for more than 20 years, said their mission is to develop a lifelong relationship with every client through the highest level of trust, integrity, authenticity, passion and industry knowledge.
Needy-Kohler has been in the real estate market for 22 years and ranks in the top 1.5 percent of Coldwell Banker agents worldwide.
“My strategy is simple,” she said. “I concentrate on my clients’ particular goals and work diligently until they are met. Needy-Kohler said she sells more than 100 homes annually.
“Honesty, loyalty, understanding, creativity and accountability are what I offer to my clients,” she said.
Needy-Kohler said the availability of properties continues to be a problem.
“Inventory is still low. We need more homes to sell,” she said. “Sellers are getting top dollar for their homes and we are still seeing bidding wars.”
But, she said, new homes are going up at a faster rate, so that may help the situation.
“Building materials are coming down, so new construction should continue to rise,” she said. “The market will correct itself as it always does.”
Needy-Kohler and her husband live in Jefferson County. They have two grown children and five grandchildren.
