Hopkins Flooring is offering a special price for one of its popular new products.
Owner Nick Hopkins said Odyssey laminate flooring is on sale through June 1 at the company’s locations at 2323 Hwy. 67 in the Festus area and 10159 Watson Road in south St. Louis County.
“It is a 100-percent waterproof laminate,” he said. “It is thicker and more scratch resident than other flooring types.”
Hopkins said his company has carried the new product for about six months and has sold about four truckloads.
He said the flooring has a mineral core instead of a wood-pulp core, making it waterproof.
Hopkins said the Odyssey product also saves customers money.
“There is no extra cost because the pad is already attached to the product,” he said. “It is easy to install. You can do it yourself, or we would be glad to install it.”
The Hopkins family has owned and operated the business since 1963.
With more than six decades in the flooring industry, Hopkins said, there is nothing staff members haven’t seen or been able to help customers with.
Hopkins said his company treats customers like they family, and employees work closely with customers to ensure their flooring needs are met.
“We know what products are best for a customer’s needs, and the solutions we come up with are typically ideal for a long-term solution and the best floor possible,” he said.
Hopkins said spring is a good time to replace flooring before people start traveling throughout the summer.
“It is a great time to do something before going on vacation and you go another year without doing something with your floors,” he said. “Spring cleaning could include new flooring from Hopkins.”
