Nick Hopkins, owner of Hopkins Floor Co. in the Festus area says his six sales employees have a combined 190 years of experience in the flooring business.
“This experience gives customers opportunities to ask and get answers from people with real-world knowledge, not from a book or YouTube – somebody who has actually dealt with it, lived through it and found a solution for the issues,” Hopkins said. “That also allows us to weed out poor products we know aren’t going to be the answer and ensure customers have the right products for their life and in the room where the product is needed.”
Hopkins Floor, at 2323 Hwy. 67, offers a variety of products and services for homeowners looking to remodel. It carries carpeting, hardwood, laminate, tile and vinyl flooring, along with new countertops and cabinets. The company also provides installation, as well as custom carpet binding services and hard wood flooring restorations.
The Hopkins family has owned and operated the business since 1963. With more than six decades in the flooring industry, Hopkins said there isn’t much he or his staff members haven’t seen or been able to accomplish.
“There are people who do the work themselves, can handle it, and are satisfied with the level of their quality, but there are a lot of people who can’t do that,” he said. “If customers don’t know how to start or where to start, that’s why we are here. We are the flooring experts so you don’t have to be.”
