Hopkins Floor Co. owner Nick Hopkins says this is the best time for customers to buy a new floor.
Hopkins, which has locations at 2323 Hwy. 67 south of Festus and 10159 Watson Road in south St. Louis County, will hold a four-week clearance sale starting today, Jan. 18.
“New products are coming in and old ones have to go,” Hopkins said. “A lot of items are being sold at cost. There is more than $2 million in inventory on sale. It is the best sale of the year. It is the lowest price of the year.”
The Hopkins family has owned and operated the business since 1963.
With just more than six decades in the flooring industry, Hopkins said, there is nothing that staff members haven’t seen or been able to accomplish.
“It may not be the greatest time to have (flooring) installed when it is zero degrees, but this is by far the best time of the entire year to pick up clearance items and sale items,” Hopkins said. “It is all first quality. It is all in stock. Installation is always available.”
Hopkins said his company treats customers like they are family, and employees work closely with customers to ensure their flooring needs are met.
