Freedom Realty caters to all clients but has a particular interest in serving U.S. military veterans, said Jennifer Jones, a broker and the manager for the agency’s Jefferson County office, 420 W. Main St., in Festus.
She said the interest in helping veterans starts with Freedom Realty owner Dustin Walker.
“The broker-owner is Dustin Walker, an Army combat veteran based in Farmington, who wanted to open a location in Jefferson County,” Jones said. “I had owned a real estate agency in Festus.”
The Festus office is developing an area of recognition for veterans, Jones said.
“We will honor local veterans,” she said. “We’re asking everyone that if you have a family member who is a veteran or if you are a veteran, to bring a 5-by-7 picture for our Wall of Honor.”
People interested in buying or selling property may contact the Freedom Realty Jefferson County office and find agents who can handle property sales all around the state.
“We’re licensed to show anywhere in the state of Missouri,” Jones said.
The Festus location, however, focuses on sales in Jefferson and St. Louis counties, as well as the surrounding area.
She said one of Freedom Realty’s goals is to make buying and selling properties easier.
“We’ve got a simple program that works for the agents and clients,” she said.
Jones, a real estate veteran, said Freedom Realty offers its clients help in all facets of property sales, including referrals to related services.
“We work closely with our local vendors,” she said. “This includes local banks and mortgage companies.”
