When it comes to home buying and selling, Realtor Tara Hebenstreit of Coldwell Banker Realty-Gundaker said the key to success is keeping a positive attitude and using local professionals through the buying and selling process.

Hebenstreit said she specializes in finding real estate for families, investors and builders in Jefferson, St. Francois and Ste. Genevieve counties.

While the housing market has fluctuated around the country, Hebenstreit said Jefferson County is still holding strong due to local professionals in the real estate business.

“I think a lot of people are concerned about what the market’s doing, what the prices are doing, what the rates are doing, but when you work with great local agents, local lenders, local inspectors and local title companies, we’re here to serve our clients in our community,” Hebenstreit said.

Hebenstreit, who has more than 10 years in the real estate business under her belt, said it’s important to stay positive.

She encourages embracing new opportunities and making the most out of them.

“I have been focusing on serving my clients with a positive attitude,” she said. “Staying positive is the key to real estate.”

Hebenstreit’s approach to real estate has been a winning formula, with Real Trends naming her among 2023’s America’s Best Top Real Estate Professionals.

Hebenstreit lives in Festus, and she and her husband, Jerrod, have six children and two grandchildren.

“I have a family here. I’ve raised my children here in the Festus School District,” she said. “And I just enjoy living in this community and I want to bring more families to it and continue that growth.”

Hebenstreit’s office is at 502 S. Truman Blvd. in Festus. She can be reached by phone at 573-535-8038 or by email at tara.hebenstreit@cbrealty.com.
