Decor and more: Look to Farmhouse Style Boutique for the perfect look
Whether you’re looking to sell your home or upgrade its decor, the Farmhouse Style Boutique probably has what you need.
The store, 101 Main St., in Festus, offers a wide variety of furniture, decor and accessories in the popular farmhouse style.
Manager Abbey Partney said the family-owned business opened in November 2020 in a smaller space at the rear of Main Street.
“We quickly outgrew that,” she said. “We moved here in May.”
The building, at Main and Adams streets, was the longtime headquarters of a local bank.
“That has its perks,” Partney said. “We have a lot of customers who used to work here come in and reminisce. It is nice having several separate rooms, because we can switch out the decor and have different lifestyle settings.”
Partney said the store gets new merchandise frequently.
“We post on social media when new arrivals come, but they sell really fast,” she said. “We can also special-order furniture and accessories. We get a furniture truck every other week, and smaller merchandise comes at least once a week.”
Farmhouse Style Boutique also offers staging services for realtors and home sellers.
“We do the whole package,” Partney said. “Furniture, decor, bedding, accessories for every room. A house that’s staged is far more likely to sell.”
Partney said she and her two staff members are grateful for the support they’ve received.
“Our customers have been amazing,” she said. “We wouldn’t have been able to expand the way we did if it weren’t for them. And the community has been incredible, too. It’s humbling, and we’re very lucky.”
