With colder weather and shorter days ahead, Farm and Homestead Equipment in Byrnes Mill encourages homeowners to take advantage of its off-season deals.
Farm and Homestead Equipment, at 121 Osage Executive Circle near Hwy. 30, specializes in compact equipment for hobby farms, large lawns, homesteads, estates and sports complexes.
Co-owner Dwayne Helton said his store, which opened in March 2023, has a wide selection for the outdoorsy types.
“We offer most things to do with small farms through residential lawn care equipment,” he said. “We service almost all makes and models, even if we don’t sell them ourselves.”
Through the end of the year, Helton said Farm and Homestead Equipment is offering zero percent financing for 120 months on the MT1 and MT2 series LS Tractor for qualified buyers. The sub-compact tractors are “user-friendly” with “an exceptional operator experience,” according to the manufacturer’s website.
Helton said the store offers diesel, gas and electric-operated lawn care equipment.
In addition to tractors and mowers, Farm and Homestead Equipment sells trailers, greenhouses, chicken coops, which double as dog kennels, and tractor attachments.
Helton said his store is offering a special maintenance deal for the equipment their customers already own.
Employees at Farm and Homestead Equipment will pick up, service and return lawn care equipment for the first 10 callers free of charge. The store offers the service in Jefferson County and most of the St. Louis area.
Helton said he and his wife, Merrie, co-own the store with their twin sons, Archer and Aden. The store has six employees in total.
