APB Storage, which has facilities in Festus and Barnhart, offers safe and reliable storage solutions for Jefferson County residents, owner Bill Ruble said.
The business provides a variety of unit sizes at both locations. The Barnhart facility, at 7004 Monticello Drive, was established first, then the Festus facility, at 1370 Shapiro Drive, was completed in September 2022, increasing the company’s capacity to more than 450 units, Ruble said.
Ruble said APB Storage offers a 12-month price guarantee to ensure clients do not experience the price fluctuations commonly seen at other facilities.
He said that approach is intended to provide consistent pricing for the company’s customers, understanding that storage is often a necessity.
The business is a true family endeavor, Ruble said.
In addition to Ruble, his wife, Angi, and their children, Josh, Justine, and Jacob, all work in the office.
“We started in 2019 knowing that we wanted it to be a family business,” Ruble said.
He said his family is committed to the local community, participating in events, partnering with nonprofit organizations and extending discounts to military personnel, teachers and first responders.
“It’s an awesome community,” he said. “We try to help out with anything our family can provide.”
Ruble explained that APB Storage offers 24-hour, drive-up access at both locations, providing clients with flexibility and convenience.
He said that each renter is provided with a private access code, which enhances security and ensures ease of use.
Ruble acknowledged that with rising housing costs making in-home storage less accessible, APB Storage aims to meet the growing demand for secure and affordable storage options for homeowners and renters alike.
APB Storage’s office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. For more information, call 636-464-5629 or send an email to apbmanage@gmail.com.
