West Village Apartments are located at the southwest corner of Hwy. A and South Truman Boulevard in Festus. It offers 200 apartments, including one-bedroom and two-bedroom units.
Stoney Pines Apartments are located at 1735 Old Hwy. M in Barnhart, offering 126 apartments, also with one-bedroom and two-bedroom units.
Debrecht is currently building Legion Apartments near West Village Apartments in Festus. The complex features 152 units, including one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. The project is expected to be completed by early fall. Debrecht is already taking applications.
Debrecht said the cost to lease an apartment in one of the three developments is $1,350 for a one-bedroom unit; $1,650 for a two-bedroom unit and $1,950 for a three-bedroom unit.
He said a lot of people are choosing to live in apartments, and he wants to provide them with a better option.
“There’s not a lot of nice new apartments in Jefferson County,” he said.
He wants the upscale apartments he’s building to feel even bigger, so the top-floor apartments have 18-foot-tall, vaulted ceilings.
The apartment complexes offer additional amenities, such as a fitness center, resort-style swimming pool and a dog park. Debrecht said he tries to offer amenities a little over the top.
