If you’re looking to find an apartment in the Barnhart or Festus area, then you may want to contact Debrecht Properties, which is offering a special deal for the new year.
Property manager Lee Gray said prospective tenants at the Stoney Pines apartments in Barnhart or West Village complex in Festus may sign a 13-month lease and get one month’s free rent. The offer is good through Jan. 31.
The promotion, known as a “winter special,” began last month.
Gray said there’s already been positive feedback about the promotion.
“A guy from California just moved in and said. ‘It’s a pretty sweet deal … a month’s rent is a month’s rent,’” she added.
Located at 1735 Old Hwy. M, Stoney Pines Apartments opened in 2023 with 128 units available. Currently, rent for a 950-square-foot, one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment is $1,400 per month. The complex also has 1,100-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bathroom units for $1,700 per month.
The same deal is being offered for the West Village Apartments complex at 725 American Legion Drive in Festus, which opened in 2024 with 200 units available. Similar to Stoney Pines, the complex has 950-square-foot, one-bed, one-bath units, which rent for $1,350 per month and 1,100-square-foot two-bedroom, two-bathroom units for $1,650 per month.
Both apartment complexes offer a variety of amenities, including a 24-hour fitness center, a resort-style pool and a gated dog park.
Debrecht Properties, which is owned by Lorenzo Debrecht under Lorenzo LLC, has been in business for 15 years and owns both apartment complexes.
For the rest of 2025, Debrecht Properties is focusing on building new developments in Jefferson County, Gray said.
