Consort Homes is giving homebuyers a hot deal this July by offering up to $12,000 in free custom upgrades and options on the construction of a home.
“With any home, it is $12,000 off of choosing upgrades and options such as upgraded flooring or cabinets, luxury kitchen or luxury bath layouts,” said Dawn Thurman, marketing manager. “There are a lot of things they can do with $12,000.”
Thurman said that building new homes is becoming a more popular option due to the lack of housing inventory.
“It gives you the ability to create your house the way you want it versus having to update somebody else’s to fit your needs,” she said.
Consort is known for its energy-efficient and environmentally responsible homes, Thurman said.
“We make a very airtight home, which is very good for the St. Louis area with all the allergens that are floating in our air. We focus on our appliances and our HVAC systems being very energy-efficient to help keep utility costs down. On a new home, oftentimes a family will move into a larger square footage house, and their utilities are actually lower on a new home than they would be on a used home because of all the efficiency we put in these homes,” she said.
Thurman recommends that home hunters visit the displays at Windswept Farms, near Hwy. 109 and Hwy. W in the Eureka area of Jefferson County. The displays are open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, with no appointments necessary.
Consort also has built developments in Lake St. Louis and St. Charles and is offering the July incentive at all its sites through July 31.
