Comfort Cabinetry transforms spaces with personal design services
When clients work with Kristy Carder at Comfort Cabinetry, 404 N. Main St., in De Soto, they get an array of custom services and expertise to help create a new space.
The company, which earlier this month celebrated five years in business, transforms kitchens, bathrooms, closets, offices, fireplace surrounds and other spaces.
Carder said they help design and create spaces in new construction and remodels.
“I love working with clients and helping them figure out what they want for the space,” she said. “I want to make sure it’s functional for what their family needs.”
She asks a lot of questions. “Where do you keep your cookie sheets? How about your spices?” she explained. “We want to make the space work for you.”
Comfort Cabinetry stays with clients through the process, from design through measurements and installation.
“I’m going to be with you every step of the way,” she said.
“Timing is everything,” Carder said. “We want to make sure we have everything ready exactly when it’s needed. As soon as the flooring is installed, we’re installing cabinets, countertops and hardware.”
A bonus, she said: “We often get better pricing than the box stores.”
Comfort Cabinetry works closely with local contractors to make sure projects progress smoothly.
“We will work with your builders or electricians or plumbers to make sure everything fits the way it’s supposed to,” she said. “We love our small town, and we work closely with builders, contractors and real estate agents to help create amazing homes.”
