Building relationships is key in real estate biz
Realtor Tara Hebenstreit of Coldwell Banker Gundaker says the most important aspect of her business is the connections she forges with her clients.
“I think the biggest thing a consumer looks for in a Realtor is trust and honesty,” she said. “It’s that personal relationship. Obviously, that can turn into a professional partnership, and it can benefit all of us – myself, the buyer, the seller.”
Hebenstreit said she specializes in the local area with properties in Jefferson, St. Francois and Ste. Genevieve counties.
“Every county is a little bit different,” she said. “I work in these areas to get the most updated material, the latest marketing numbers.
“Having a Realtor who does that kind of research, who specializes in that area-specific information, is going to help you get through the process more easily.”
She also points to her accessibility as an asset.
“I do this full-time,” she said. “I am dedicated to exploring every option and opportunity, and my clients know they can reach me when they need me – even nights and weekends.”
Hebenstreit has been in the business for seven years, and says she is confident her team can help buyers and sellers navigate today’s changing real estate market.
“We look for the things that are positive and focus on those,” she said. “That helps build confidence.”
She also recognizes that success is a team effort.
“I’m very grateful for my referrals, my lenders, my title company, my work family here at CBG,” she said. “Our broker, Brian, supporting us, the office staff here – I couldn’t do my business without them. Having everybody be on the same page as far as customer service goes is great.”
