Starting fresh: Wildwood carpet, air duct cleaner makes big promise
Mark Mueller has a simple philosophy for his carpet and air duct cleaning business.
The job will be done right, or it is free.
“We produce to where they will give us a five-star review, or they do not have to pay for the job,” said Mueller, who owns Cardinal Carpet and Air Duct Cleaning, 18902 Melrose Road, in Wildwood and has been in the cleaning industry since 1975.
“I have never had it happen in all of these years. We have had jobs that we have redone at no cost, and then they are happy.”
Mueller said air duct cleaning can play an essential role for homebuyers, because of unseen things that build up in an HVAC system.
“You do not want to breathe someone else’s air,” Mueller said. “Air ducts are like a time capsule. When you move into a home that has been occupied by another family, the reality is you are breathing their dead skin cells, hair, dander and various germs that are trapped in the HVAC system.”
Cardinal Carpet and Air Duct also can make carpets look nearly brand new for home sellers and buyers.
“I come by and inspect the carpets with a black light, which will reveal any stains,” Mueller said. “Some things do not always show up to a naked eye, and some stains will glow. We will sanitize those and make the carpet look like new again.”
He said his business, which provides upholstery cleaning and carpet cleaning for vehicles and RVs, also can remove odors emanating from carpets.
“Smells can make or break a potential sale,” Mueller said. “We can make odor issues go away.”
