The addition of a new Bloomsdale Bank branch in Festus last year illustrates the institution’s commitment to keeping up with the needs of the communities it serves, said Matt Bono, vice president and manager of the Herculaneum branch, 100 Scenic Drive.
Along with the Festus and Herculaneum branches, Bloomsdale Bank offers locations in Crystal City, Bloomsdale and Ste. Genevieve.
“Our Festus branch has been open since January 2024,” Bono said. “Festus is seeing growth. Jefferson County has seen growth in recent years. Bloomsdale Bank has seen growth in the last few years.”
With relatively few houses on the market compared to the number of potential buyers at this time, it is a boon to potential buyers to have loan professionals they can easily contact during the home purchasing process, he said.
Bloomsdale Bank offers a personal touch not available from larger banks, Bono added.
“It’s such a challenging market right now,” he said. “It’s important for people to have a partner to help them along with the process. Everything is done (at the branches). The loans are serviced locally. Anyone who gets a loan here will deal with a loan officer through the entire process and even into the future.”
Bono said Bloomsdale Bank has a strong focus on community.
