Hundreds of athletes took part in the annual Special Olympics track meet held April 26 at De Soto High School, event coordinator Terri Dallas said.

Seckman High Student Council members made sure the school’s Special Olympics athletes had a chance to compete this spring.

The annual Special Olympics track meet at De Soto High School returned May 6, after it was canceled last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
