Byrnes Mill officials plan to plant a tree in memory of the city’s first court clerk, Mary Lou Sheriff, who died in March at age 72.

Byrnes Mill city officials plan on Wednesday, Dec. 4, to discuss the possibility of placing a tax issue on the April ballot. 

Four seats are open on the Byrnes Mill Board of Alderpersons in the April 2 election, but voters will only have choices to make for two of them.
