Virginia M. Ballard, 89, of St. Louis died May 5, 2020, at Dougherty Ferry Assisted Living in St. Louis County. Mrs. Ballard was an office manager for the Claude Cook Insurance Agency. Born Sept. 3, 1930, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Verna (Gildahaus) and Paul Orsulak. She was preceded in death by her husband: Cecil “Butch” Ballard.
She is survived by a daughter: Gwen (the late Charles) Christopher of Des Peres; two grandchildren: Carmen Christopher of Kirkwood and Chad Christopher of St. Louis; and a great-granddaughter: Hallie Mae Christopher.
Services were private. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
