Steven Kent Lammert, 57, of Pevely died Feb. 16, 2014, in Herculaneum. Mr. Lammert was a self-employed carpenter and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Born Nov. 28, 1956, in St. Charles, he was the son of the late Louise (Ham) and Richard Lammert.
He is survived by one daughter: Shawn; three sisters: Brenda Horne of Pevely, Patricia (Steve) Campbell of Barnhart and Linda (John) Horn of De Soto; two brothers: Tony (Cindy) Lammert of De Soto and Joseph (Kerri) Lammert of Imperial; a brother-in-law: Jerry Shrout; and 16 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother: Thomas Lammert; and two sisters: Mary Lammert and Christine Shrout.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
