Steven C. Thomas, 64, of Festus died Jan. 7, 2021, in Festus. Mr. Thomas was a maintenance supervisor with Semco Plastic. He was born Feb. 7, 1956, in Pittsburgh, Pa., the son of Charles D. and Dorothy J. (Smith) Thomas of Findlay, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Lori (Dise) Thomas of Festus; five children:
Nicholas Thomas of St. Clair, Steffanie (Joe Perkins) Thomas of High Ridge, Andrea (Kyle Wilkinson) Thomas of Barnhart, Steven (Cassy) Thomas of St. Louis and Nathan (Alexis) Thomas of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; six siblings: Charles Thomas of Houston, Texas, Kim Thomas of Findlay, Ohio, Cindy Colgate of Fostoria, Ohio, Carlene Hitchcock of Tiffin, Ohio, Candice Ange of Durham, N.C., and Jacque Groves of Melmore, Ohio; and eight grandchildren: Natrone, Jack, Max, Gavin, Layla, Keilan, Lincoln and Emmett.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from noon until a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. Dr. G. Michael Rose. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
