Rebecca Vincent

Rebecca Vincent, 64, of Herculaneum, formerly of Arnold and Crystal City, died March 11, 2014, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City.

Ms. Vincent was a social worker in the state of Washington and a heavy equipment operator at the Black Butte Coal Co. in Wyoming. She enjoyed crafts and photography.

Born March 18, 1949, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Angeline (Cocchiarella) Vincent of Arnold and the late Howard Vincent.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son: Chad (Dianna) Carpenter of Urbana, Mo.; one daughter, Angela Carpenter of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska; one sister: Anna Marie (Art) Meadows of Camdenton; five grandchildren: Rebecca Ashley-Morgan Carpenter, Chanch Eugene Carpenter, Westley Michael Carpenter, Tara Faith Shockley and Lake Vincent Shockley; four great-grandchildren: Marlie Rain Sowder, Bentley Dannie Carpenter, Colt Michael Carpenter and Daemond James Shockley.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother: Howard “Sonny” Vincent.

Private funeral services were held.

Arrangements were under the director of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
