Patsy June Burgdorf, 84, of House Springs died June 21, 2020 in House Springs. Mrs. Burgdorf had a true passion to give back to her community, volunteering at the Cedar Hill Peace Pantry and serving on the board at Epworth Children and Family Services. She enjoyed playing cards, swimming, sewing and quilting, and loved spending time with her family. Born June 30, 1935, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Elzie and Vera (Rogers) Pollard. She was preceded in death by her husband: Albert Burgdorf.
She is survived by four children: Dayle Burgdorf of House Springs, Kathlyn Howell of Wentzville, Ken Burgdorf of Geneva, Ill., and Kevin (Pamela) Burgdorf of St. Louis; two siblings: Sue Schlanger and Roger Stout; nine grandchildren: Jessica, Stacy, Kenny, Debbie, Maggie, Christopher, Curtis, Kayla and Riley; and 14 great-grandchildren: Carter, Easton, Annabelle, Samantha, Jordyn, Brenna, Braeden, Darby, Brennan, Jackson, Hailey, Jocelyn, Liam and Parker, along with many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Dean Pollard; and a daughter-in-law: Jayne Burgdorf.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. A private graveside service will follow in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks.
