Walter Ervin Bryan, 91, of Arnold died Dec. 6, 2025, at his home. Mr. Bryan worked as a pipe fitter at Spire. Born March 9, 1934, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Theresa (Hartke) Bryan and Lee Bryan.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years: Muriel (Poston) Bryan; three children: Michael Bryan of Hillsboro, Michele (Mike) Tosie of Imperial and Cindy (Mike) Minshall of Imperial; six grandchildren: Nick Bryan and Justin Bryan of St. Louis, Cody Bryan of Hillsboro, Shawn (Shea) Bryan of Arnold, Kevin Tosie and Kristin Tosie of Columbia; four great-grandchildren: Jayden Bryan, Karli Bryan, Fiona Bryan and Blake Bryan; two siblings: Joan (the late Norman) Flamm of Arnold and Joyce (the late Robert) Hinkle of Florida; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a child: Wally Bryan; and a sibling: Lee Bryan Jr.
Services were held Dec. 15 at Holy Family Parish in Arnold. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements were under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel in St. Louis County.
