Stephen Neil Becker, 68, of St. Louis died Aug. 28, 2026. Mr. Becker proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1976 to 1979 and worked for the U.S. Postal Service in St. Louis. Most of all, he was strong in his faith, which guided him throughout his life. Born Oct. 10, 1957, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Gladys Becker.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years; a son: Rick (Bonnie) Nelson of Dittmer; a brother: Lloyd Becker of South Carolina; two nephews: Ernie (Beth) Becker of South Carolina and Darin Wernig of St. Louis; two nieces: Lynn (Phillip) Nelms of Georgia and Laura (Ben) Wernig of St. Louis; and many grandchildren, great nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son: James Nelson; and a sister: Elaine Wernig.
Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks with full Military Honors. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold.
