Robert A. “Bob” Roth, 64, of De Soto died Dec. 7, 2025, at his home. Mr. Roth was a senior systems analyst at Concentrix. He was a fourth-degree member of the Cardinal John J. Glennon Assembly Knights of Columbus Council 1185 in De Soto and a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon at Southeast Missouri State University. He also served as an officer and grand knight for Council 1185. Born April 3, 1961, in Perryville, he was the son of the late Leonard Herman “Lex” Roth and Emily Genevieve (Herzog) Roth.
He is survived by his wife: Deborah (Young) Roth of De Soto; two children: Brittany (Andrew) DeMarco of Festus and Dylan Roth of De Soto; two grandchildren: Adalynn and Kace; nine siblings: David (Donna) Roth, Becky (Mel) Bruemmer, Philip (Sandy) Roth, Dennis (Joan) Roth, Thomas (Jane) Roth, Jane (Robert) Gale, Mary Jo (Doug) Madden, Annette (Erick) Price and Matthew (Laura) Roth; two sisters-in-law: Amy Roth and Betty Herzog; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Alexander "Alex" Roth and Bob Herzog.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a funeral Mass at noon Monday, Dec. 15, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 504 S. Third St., in De Soto, officiated by Father Vincent Nyman. Memorials may be made to the De Soto Food Pantry or the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
