Perry James “Jim” West Jr., 79, of Imperial died Oct. 31, 2026, in Anderson, Ind. Mr. West was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked as an engineer for the Veterans Administration. Born March 14, 1947, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Eva Mae (Parker) West and Perry J. West Sr.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Joanna West.
He is survived by a son: Andrew (Angela) West of Imperial; a daughter: Lisa (Ernie) Lease of Anderson, Ind.; four grandchildren: Logan and Landan White and Liam and Ava West; and two step-grandchildren: Tyler (Megan) and Katherine Lease.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 901 Barracksview Road, in St. Louis County. Interment will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Rock Township Paramedics' Community Outreach. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
