Maybelle Helen “May” (Roesch) Olson, 94, of Hillsboro died May 2, 2026, at her home. Mrs. Olson has been a servant of Jehovah God since Sept. 25, 1971. She will be remembered for her devotion to family. Born July 25, 1931, in Maxville, she was the daughter of the late Gladys (Hock) and Robert Roesch.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Gene Harold Olson.
She is survived by three children: Gene (Pat) Olson of Hillsboro, Debbie Strauss of Imperial and Michael Olson of Hillsboro; five grandchildren: Sarah, Jennifer, Jessica, Jeff and Becky; and four great-grandchildren: Amos, Ezra, Cass and Rory.
She also was preceded in death by four siblings: Elsie, Ruth, Robert and Mary Ellen; a half-brother: Russell; and a son: Bruce Olson.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
