Marcella R. (Werner) Strieder, 99, of St. Louis, formerly of High Ridge, died Sept. 30, 2026. A devout Christian, Mrs. Strieder lived her faith daily and was known for her generous heart as a volunteer throughout her community. She was born on June 9, 1927, in High Ridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Carl L. Strider.
She is survived by three children: Sally (Chip) Alexander, Cheri (Mark) Dakich and Gary (Janetta) Strieder; five grandchildren: Nicole (Tom) Suedkamp, Christina (Derek) Baumgartner, Connor Dakich, Jason (Sara) Strieder and Amanda (Andrew) Goyzueta; nine great-grandchildren: Mason Reiter, Hayden Suedkamp, Owen, Carter and Cooper Strieder, Emma, Cora and Miles Goyzueta and Beckham Baumgartner.
A memorial visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a memorial service at noon Friday, Oct. 9, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, Robert Brown Chapel, 103 Fourth St., in Hillsboro. Memorials may be made to the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry, 10601 Baur Blvd., St. Louis, 63132. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary, Robert Brown Chapel.
