Leroy Rosa, 96, of Imperial died March 3, 2026, in St. Louis. Mr. Rosa retired from the U.S. Coast Guard as a W4 warrant officer after 30 years of service. He was a school bus driver for Fox C-6 School District for 11 years, and was a member of Arnold VFW Post 2593, Arnold American Legion Post 281 and Arnold Masonic Lodge 673. Born Aug. 28, 1929, in Hadley, he was the son of the late Lilly (Carter) Rosa and Ernest E. Rosa.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Lou (Rose) Rosa.
He is survived by his children: Douglas Ray Rosa of Imperial and Julie (Ken) Kastner of St. Louis; a grandchild: Becky Miller of Troy; a sibling: Pauline (the late Bernie) Bales of Festus; and many other family members and friends.
He was also preceded in death by a child: Debbie (John) Miller.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 11, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to Jefferson Barracks V. A. Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
