Howard Price Duncan, 76, of Barnhart died April 17, 2025. Mr. Duncan served in the U.S. Air Force. He then went on to work as an engineer for Anheuser-Busch for more than 30 years. He loved everything to do with racing, going fishing and, most importantly, spending time with his grandson and the rest of his family. Born Oct. 31, 1948, in Conway, S.C., he was the son of the late Howard B. Duncan and Bonnie F. Swillinger.
He is survived by his wife: Phyllis K. Duncan; a daughter: Jennifer Duncan of Barnhart; a grandson: Austen (Sara) Duncan of Blackwell; a great-granddaughter: Brooklyn Duncan of Blackwell; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Andy Duncan.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, April 25, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto. A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, in the Hardee Cemetery in Loris, S.C. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH, 45250-0301.
