Harry Steve Dugan III, 61, of De Soto died April 23, 2024. Mr. Dugan worked as a material handler for G&J Recycling. He was a collector of everything and loved fishing, hunting and, most importantly, spending time with his family and friends. Born Oct. 11, 1962, in St. Louis, he was the son of Sue Ellen (Peeler-Dauernheim) Dugan of Arnold and the late Harry Steve Dugan II.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son: Steven R. (Jennifer) Dugan of Bonne Terre; two daughters: Katie S. (Eric) Dugan of Festus and Emma M. Dugan of St. Louis; mother of Harry's daughters: Tina M. (Paul) Chesney of Festus; mother of Harry's son: Tammie G. (Richard) Esch of Festus; two sisters: Renee R. (Greg) Abel of Willow Park, Texas, and Robin T. (Jimmy) Govero of Festus; a grandson: Anderson L. Dugan; three granddaughters: Nova R. Dugan, Evelyn R. Dugan and Delaney A. Chojnowski; and many other family members and friends.
Services are private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd. Miami, FL, 33134. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
