Klamert, Diane

Diane Virginia Klamert, 77, of Imperial died April 7, 2026. Throughout her life, Mrs. Klamert worked at Shop 'n Save, BMW and alongside her husband at Klamert Homes, where they were known for their hard work and partnership. She loved spending time with family, especially with her grandchildren during the holidays. She enjoyed hand-painted art, antiquing and trout fishing at Bennett Springs alongside her favorite fishing partner, her husband. She often spoke of her trip to Europe after high school, one of the most memorable experiences of her life. An avid reader, she could finish a 500-page book in two days and recall details with remarkable clarity. She will be remembered for her love of her faith, family and friends and for being steadfast, curious, compassionate and devoted. Born May 1, 1948, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late John and Virginia Kilper.

She is survived by her husband: Terry Klamert; four children: Dawn (Mark) Schmaltz, Danielle (Craig) Tilley, Christian (Adam) Hayes and Terry-Dean (Dawn) Klamert; eight grandchildren: Derek, Corey, Casey, Caley, Cody, Emma, Roxanne and Dominic; two great-grandchildren: Braxton Griffin and Sutton Kettler; and a brother: David Kilper.

She was preceded in death by a son: Derek Norris; and a brother: Dennis Kilper.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, April 16, at the funeral home. A committal service will follow at noon in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
